A composition of gelatin, glycerin and water was explored for its potential use.  Named ''Booger'', it reacts in a primal way creating a rawness to the touch as the material responds to those interacting with it. This led to the inspiration of designing tableware in the shape of body parts; connecting the rawness of human flesh to the raw food Sushi. The user will feel an uneasy connection to the tableware as they recognize the body parts. As the tableware is handled, the feeling it emits is one of a fleshy warmth to the touch. The user essentially comprehends their utensils have become alive.
